For this project I led the content team in creating the empty template spaces, sourcing and cleaning up existing scans of objects, layout and set dressing of exhibits, tour creation, as well as leading other team members in building of exhibits. Utilizing a standardize tile/trim system I created for all Sagenverse projects the empty templates were built in Maya, and setup in Unity 3D before being released to the application for exhibit building.
One of my favorite galleries was the exhibit for Goya. His collection of work is vast with portraits and aquatints but in his final years he created whats known as "The Black Paintings". These were painted directly onto the walls of his home at the time Quinta del Sordo. To recreate the paintings I researched 1800's spanish villas, and found some historic floor plans. With those references, the documentation of the size and location of each of the paintings I was able to faithfully recreate what the paintings would have looked like in the villa.
For the Egyptian History Wing I got to work closely with am Egyptian Historian from The University of Michigan who provided reference and guidance for the buildout and exhibits in that section.
